Plutschow Gallery

—  deals in important artworks of the 20th and 21st century.

We represent artists such as Miltos Manetas, Zineb Sedira and Gal Weinstein, who explore how the intersection of technology and contemporary culture is changing humanity, by transferring this heavily weighted topic into a visual language. We mount engaging, critical shows of emerging artists such as poetic sculptor David Casini and meticulous creator Riccardo Beretta. We make much account of featuring more established artists, who earned a historical importance and serve as an inspiring reference for the following generations, such as Otto Piene, Turi Simeti, Heinz Mack and Luciano Castelli. We share a dream to create a space, which provides a social hub for experimentation where the definition and meaning of art are constantly being challenged.

Roman Plutschow is a trained attorney at law, who started his career in the art world in 1997 at Marlborough Fine Art. After eight years as an attorney at law in Zurich, where he specialized among others in all matters concerning art and law, he became managing director of Galerie Gmurzynska in Zurich, Zug and St. Moritz in 2006 and in 2012 managing director of Christie’s Germany.
